Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you sign up with Google, we get your email, name, and profile picture. That's it from Google's side. We don't ask for phone numbers or mailing addresses because we genuinely have no use for them.

Payment info goes straight to Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers — Stripe's whole business model is handling that so companies like us don't have to.

As you use the app, we store the images you upload, whatever we generate for you, and how many credits you've spent. Our server logs also pick up your IP address and browser info automatically. Those logs are honestly just for debugging — when a user tells us "my upload failed" we need something to look at.

2. How We Use It

Pretty much what you'd expect: processing your photos, keeping your account running, billing correctly, answering support emails. Nothing exotic.

We do look at aggregate numbers — stuff like "2,400 images processed today" or "nobody uses the rotate feature on mobile." That helps us figure out what's working and what isn't. We're not clicking into individual accounts to see what you specifically are doing.

Email-wise, you'll hear from us about billing receipts, downtime, or if there's something wrong with your account. We don't do marketing blasts.

3. Your Photos

This is the part people usually care about most, so here it is plainly: we don't train AI on your photos. Period. They come in, get processed, and sit in storage until they're auto-deleted 30 days later. While they're on our servers, they're encrypted and only accessible through your logged-in account.

The only time a human at PixelPanda would look at one of your images is if you file a bug report and specifically ask us to check what went wrong with a particular upload.

4. Third-Party Services

Here's who else touches your data and why:

• Stripe handles payments. They get your billing info, we don't.
• Cloudflare R2 is where your generated images are stored so you can download them.
• Replicate runs the AI models. They receive the image, process it, send back the result.
• Google Cloud powers some features and the Google sign-in flow.

Each one gets the bare minimum. Replicate doesn't get your email. Stripe doesn't get your photos. We've never sold user data to anyone, and we have zero plans to start.

Legally we should mention: if a court order comes in, we'd have to comply. That's never happened, but it'd be dishonest to pretend it couldn't.

5. Security

Everything between your browser and us is encrypted in transit (TLS). Data at rest is encrypted too. Production access requires SSH keys and is limited to our engineering team.

Look, no one can promise they'll never get hacked — that's just not how security works. What we can promise is that we follow industry best practices and that we'd tell affected users fast if something ever went sideways.

6. How Long We Keep Things

Photos and generated images: 30 days, then they're gone.
Your account info (email, name, credit balance): as long as you have an account.
Payment records: 7 years, because tax law says so.

Delete your account and we'll scrub your personal data within 90 days. Some anonymous aggregate stats survive (think "X users signed up in January") but there's nothing in there that points back to you.

7. Your Rights

Update your info from your profile page anytime. If you want a full data export or need something corrected that you can't fix yourself, email support@pixelpanda.ai. We usually respond within a day or two.

8. Cookies

We use cookies for two things: keeping you logged in and basic analytics (page views, feature usage). You can block them in your browser settings, but fair warning — you'll get logged out constantly.

9. You Must Be 18+

PixelPanda is for adults. If we find out someone under 18 created an account, we'll close it and delete everything associated with it.

10. International Users

Our servers are in North America. If you're using PixelPanda from Europe, Asia, or anywhere else, your data does cross borders to reach us. Everything on this page still applies to you regardless of where you are.

11. Policy Updates

If we make a meaningful change, you'll get an email before it goes into effect. Typo fixes and minor wording changes just get a date bump at the top of this page.
