AI Electronics Photography for Amazon
Transform your electronics photos into Amazon-ready product images. Professional backgrounds, perfect lighting, and marketplace-compliant quality.
Electronics get bought or skipped from a thumbnail that is barely bigger than a postage stamp, and they get returned when the physical object does not match what the buyer imagined. Amazon's main image rules push hard in one direction: a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), the product filling about 85% of the frame, no text, logos, watermarks, borders, props, or accessories that are not in the box. The surfaces electronics are made of push the other way. Gloss black plastic, glass fronts, chrome bezels, anodized aluminum and speaker mesh all mirror the room, so a "white background" shot of a glossy soundbar picks up gray softbox shapes, the edge of the sweep, and sometimes the photographer.
The second problem is information. Buyers of chargers, hubs, earbuds and cameras are checking size, port type, plug region and what is actually included. Your remaining gallery slots have to answer those questions, because unanswered ones become returns and one-star "smaller than expected" reviews.
Get three technical things locked before anything else: at least 1,000 px on the longest side so zoom activates (1,600 px or more is safer for detail-heavy gear), sRGB JPEG output, and color that matches the variation name on the swatch.

Killing Studio Reflections on Glossy Gadgets
A glossy black device on white does not photograph as black. It photographs as a mirror, so it records whatever is around it. The fix is to control the whole environment, not just the light: shoot inside a large diffusion tent or behind a scrim so the reflection you capture is one clean, even white field instead of two hard softbox rectangles. Kill overhead room lights, and dress in dark, non-reflective clothing if you are shooting handheld over the top of the product.
The opposite trap is a white or silver device on a pure white sweep, where the edges dissolve and Amazon's background looks like it ate the product. Add thin black or dark gray cards just outside frame so the product's edges pick up a subtle dark gradient, then clean the sweep back to true white in post. Wipe the unit with a microfiber cloth between every frame, since fingerprints and dust on piano black show up ruthlessly at zoom resolution.
Using Your Secondary Slots to Prevent Returns
Most electronics listings get one main image plus six additional slots, and often a video. Unlike the main image, secondary images may include lifestyle context, hands, text callouts and dimension diagrams, but they still cannot carry Amazon badges, price claims, review stars, guarantees, URLs or competitor comparisons. Spend those slots on the questions that trigger returns: an in-hand or beside-a-phone shot for true scale, a straight-on port panel labeled USB-C, HDMI 2.1, 3.5 mm, a dimension overlay in both inches and millimeters, a what's-in-the-box flat lay showing every cable and adapter, and a compatibility note stating which devices or wattages are supported.
For plug-in gear, show the actual regional plug you ship. Nothing generates messages faster than a US Type A blade photographed on a listing sold in the UK. If the device has LED indicators or an app, dedicate one frame to the powered-on state so buyers know what the lights and screen actually do.
