AI Supplements Photography for Poshmark
Transform your supplements photos into Poshmark-ready product images. Professional backgrounds, perfect lighting, and marketplace-compliant quality.
Supplements land in Poshmark's Wellness category, and they behave nothing like a sweater. A buyer is agreeing to ingest something bought from a stranger's closet, so your photos have to do two jobs at once: look clean enough to survive the share-driven feed, and function as evidence that the bottle is factory sealed, unexpired, and exactly the formula pictured. Poshmark's baseline for this category is new and unopened, so every photo set should quietly prove that.
The format pushes back. Poshmark crops the cover shot to a square and shows it small in the feed and in Posh Party listings, so a tall protein tub or a slim melatonin bottle loses most of the frame unless you compose for 1:1 on purpose. You get up to 16 photos per listing, which is plenty for label coverage, but the cover shot has to be your own photograph of the item you actually own, with no added text, price stickers, borders, collages, watermarks, or brand marketing art.
Then there is the physical problem: glossy labels, shrink bands, and foil pouches throw glare exactly where the tiny print lives, and that print is what closes the sale.

Killing Glare On Glossy Supplement Labels
Most supplement packaging is a worst case for reflections: UV-coated paper labels, clear shrink bands over the cap, embossed HDPE bottles, and mylar pouches that mirror every light in the room. Shoot with a large diffuse source, a window with a sheer curtain or a bounced light, placed slightly off to one side rather than straight on, and the specular streak moves off the Supplement Facts panel. Kill overhead lights so you do not get a hot dot in the middle of the panel.
Photograph bottles slightly above eye level and square to the label so the cylinder does not bend the text into unreadable curves. For pouches, lay them flat and press out the wrinkles before shooting, because creases across a lot code make it look tampered with. Wipe fingerprints and dust off the cap and shoulder of the bottle first; on a dark label they photograph as smears buyers read as "used."
Sequencing Your 16 Slots For Buyer Trust
Treat the slots as an argument in order. Cover shot: the single bottle, label straight on, filling most of a 1:1 crop on a plain light surface so the brand and product name read at thumbnail size. Slot two: the full front label including count and dosage. Slot three: the Supplement Facts and ingredient panel, sharp enough to zoom for allergens, gelatin versus vegan capsules, and serving size. Slot four: the expiration or best-by date and lot code, shot close and glare free. Slot five: the intact induction seal or unbroken shrink band, plus the cap.
Use remaining slots for scale next to a common object, a shot showing the bottle is only being sold as one unit, and any box or outer carton. Skip the manufacturer's marketing render entirely, and never overlay wellness claims like fat burning or immune boosting on an image.
